Visa Requirements for U.S. Citizens

 TOURIST AND ORDINARY

• Valid and signed U. S. Passport (valid at least 6 months beyond the date of entry; with at least one blank visa page) – photocopy is not acceptable

• One Visa Application Form completed and signed. Application on thermal fax paper is not accepted. The application form must have original signature.

• One passport size photograph

• No official letter of invitation is required from Armenia to obtain a single-entry visa if the duration of stay will be 21 days or less. A tourist/ordinary visa is issued.  NOTE: If the duration of stay is over 21 days, an official invitation is required.  For private travelers (Ordinary Visa) invitations should be verified at the Passport and Visa Department of the Police Service in Yerevan. BUSINESS

• Invitation letter from your sponsor in Armenia.  Invitations should be verified at the Consular Department of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The confirmation for business travelers will be cabled to the Embassy. Note: Consular fee is Gratis for official or diplomatic passport holders and also for Children under age 18.
