BULGARIA - There is no visa required for U.S. citizens traveling for business or tourist purposes for a maximum stay of 30 days. A valid U.S. Passport (must be valid for 6 months beyond the date of entry) is required.

For diplomatic or official passport, visa is required.  Please submit the following:

• 1 Application Form, fully completed and signed
• 1 Passport-type photograph
• Submit your valid, signed U.S. Official or Diplomatic Passport (must have six months remaining validity)
• Letter from sending department or organization, addressed to:
  
  Embassy of Bulgaria Visa Section, Washington D.C.
  
  The letter must explain all of the following:
• The purpose of travel
• The dates of the trip.
