Visa Requirements for U.S.
Citizens
TOURIST
Visa is not required for U.S. citizens for a stay of 90 days or
less. A valid and signed U. S. Passport (valid at least 6 months
beyond the date of entry) is required.
NOTE:
Minors (under 18) who are traveling alone, with one parent, or
with a
third party, must present a copy of their birth certificate and
written
authorization from the absent parent(s) or legal guardian,
specifically
granting permission to travel accordingly. This document
must be
notarized before a Colombian consular officer in the United
States. If the parents of the minor child can not appear in person before a Colombian officer, they need to have the parental consent notarize before a notary public and have the notarized document "apostille" through the Secretary of State of the state where the notary is commissioned.
