DOMINICAN REPUBLIC –
There
is no visa required for U.S. citizens traveling for business or
tourist purposes for a maximum stay of 90 days. A valid
U.S. passport is required.

23, 2007 - Passport will be required for all air travel to
or from Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the
Caribbean, and Bermuda.

As
early as January 1, 2008 - Passport requirement extended
to all land and sea borders as well as air travel.
For
diplomatic or official passport, visa is required. Please
submit the following:
- Submit your
Official or Diplomatic Passport, must be signed, have at
least six months remaining and one blank visa page
- Letter from
sending Government Department or Agency, addressed to:
Embassy of the Dominican Republic, Visa Section,
Washington D. C.
The letter must explain all of the following:
- Applicant's name
and occupation
- Purpose of the
trip
- Dates of the trip
- Contact person in
the Dominican Republic
- Travel
