Russia,
Ukraine,
Kazakshtan,
Belarus and most other former Soviet
countries require you to get an official visa support or
"invitation" before you can apply for the visa to the Consulate.
This "invitation" is usually an official document from a travel
agency, registered with the local Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
describing services booked for the client.
If you're interested in independent
travel and do not need assistance in booking any services but
require visa support only, Travel the World Visas will be able
to assist you in obtaining your "invitation" to the country of
your destination. We provide most
"invitations/visa support” as fast 24 to 48 hours (depending on
the country).

In order to process
multiple entry invitation, please provide us a copy
of the previous visa to Russia.
For
cultural invitation, please let us know of the exact activity
and itinerary information.
IMPORTANT
NOTICE (Russia - Business Invitation): The
business invitation application will be submitted to
the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs within 45 days from the
date of entry.
For
RUSH processing (3 or 5 business days) of the Russian business
invitation (single or double entry), the business invitation
application will be submitted to the Russian Ministry of Foreign
Affairs within 15 days from the date of entry.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
U.S.
Passports will No Longer be Issued Abroad/Overseas:
Effective April 8, 2002, U.S. passports will no longer
be issued abroad, except those required for urgent
travel.
All passports will be issued in the United Stated
using the new more secure photo-digitized imaging
system. Because this technology is not available at
the U.S. embassies and consulates, overseas passport
issuance is being transferred to the National Passport
Processing Center in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This
new procedure will increase the processing time at
U.S. embassies and consulates. U.S. embassies and
consulates will continue to issue passports that are
needed for urgent travel. However, such passports
will be limited in validity, and cannot be extended. |
