Extension of Validity of a Second Passport

Checklist – Second US Passport

Second passport can only be issued under these circumstances:

  • You make frequent international trips which often require entry visas and due to time constraints you have difficulty acquiring the visas before your next departure
  • You are making the request for safety/security reasons, for example you travel between Israel and anti Israeli States.

NOTE: Second passport is valid for two years only. The validity of the second passport can not be extended, however, when the second passport is expiring or expired, you may apply for another second passport.

Please follow the procedure accordingly to avoid processing delay. An incomplete or incorrectly completed application will delay the issuance of the passport.
